-> My [livejournal.com profile] avengers_bang posting date is May 11th. Maybe if I start coding the stuff now I can actually post by my date doing the one hand thing... heh.

-> Recs!

Partial Harmonics Series Losers, Cougar/Jensen, eventual Cougar/Jensen/Aisha. This was a lovely slow build through the fics.

Don't You Know There's No Modern Romance - Avengers Clint/Darcy fic by [livejournal.com profile] striped_fic. Darcy conquers the New York state of mind, the SHIELD phone system, and which forms to fill out for a license to kill. Adult relationships, those are trickier.

This is technically part of a series but you can read is as an est.rel standalone.

Run Program: DUM-E - Avengers Dummy POV fic!

Falling to Earth Avengers Steve/Tony. Snow is the beginner's substance of choice for all cave-ins and trapped-in-the-wilderness scenarios. Why couldn't it have been snow?

There will be more but the left hand is cramping.

In conclusion, JRenner is a cheeky monkey.

I love that TH spots him and just knows he's going to do something.

I'm assuming you are html coding a word file? You don't actually have to do it by hand, you can do it using find and replace.

ctrl-F will bring up the Find box. Click the Replace tab.
With your cursor in the Find What box, click the More button. More options will appear.
Click the Format button, then "Font" in the drop down box. A dialog box will appear.
In "font style" click italic (or bold, or whatever you are trying to code). Click OK.
In the main dialogue box, move the cursor to the Replace field. Type the HTML tag for the font style. (< em > for italic, etc. with spaces removed, obvs.)
Click the Special button, and select Find What Text in the drop-down menu.
Close the HTML tag. That field should now look like this (without the spaces): < em > ^& < /em >
Click Replace All.

Word will then go through your document and at the tags to the beginning and end of each italicized section. You can do the same thing for bold text, and probably most other things you need to swap out. Much easier than coding by hand!

Oh my god, thankyou! I usually write with the html tags in but half this story I didn't for some reason. This will save me a bucketload of time!

Just want to say thanks again for this. 148 replacements, that would have taken a long damn time to code one-handed.

You're welcome! Not only is this so much easier, you are a lot less likely to accidentally miss one or two.
