I've been around but quiet due to the one working hand. Going back to work tomorrow which will be interesting considering I'm currently a lefty. The right is less painful but the cast is basically positioned in such a way that typing with the right is impossible.

-> I had to pull out of spn_j2_bigbang which was really disappointing but there was no way I was going to be able to finish like this.

-> I'm REALLY happy I decided to finish the avengers_bang story BEFORE Thailand so there's that to look forward to. My art is AMAZEBALLS - I can't wait for you guys to see it!

-> i have IDEAS I want to write and I CAN'T!!! :((( Just typing this much is taking forever. Aargh! I have Clint/Darcy and Clint/Coulson IDEAS and want to finally finish the Steve/Tony HS/College AU for foxxcub and I've had all this time but no ability to do it. I'm basically going back to work even though I'll be pretty useless because I am going STIR CRAZEE.

-> Why did no one ever tell me about crack_van? I've basically spent about 2 weeks with nothing to do except read fic and this multi-fandom reccing com has come in VERY handy. I now have a bunch of recs but it will probably take me all weekend to write the post.

Last year, exactly on May 2nd, I started a new job. Three days later, I came with a cast on my right hand. \o/

That is crazy. One of my friends in in a wrist brace due to surgery, one due to snowboarding accident (and a wrist break that healed incorrectly and will have to have surgery). Seems it's going around. Good luck!

An alternate to typing is a program that types when you talk (I use Dragon Naturally Speaking). It's fairly easy to get used to and makes it much easier for me since I'm a bad typist. Not sure if it'd be worth it for only a few weeks, but stuff like that is available.
