PWP (Progress, what progress?)

-> I think I'm at the point where I might have to give up on the Inception Bang. I've written more in less time but I've still got to finish up three challenge fics, get my Xmas stuff done and I don't want to rush it because I really like the story idea and I think it shows that I rushed last year's. I'll still finish the story, but at a more sedate pace and also without a minimum wordcount making me sweat.

-> Picked up a pitch hit for dream_holiday, mostly because even though I don't *really* have the time, I had an idea as soon as I saw the prompts.

-> I like writing a handful of things at once. I tend to get more done that way because I lose interest very quickly and need to switch out. (I'm terrible when playing video games because I just can't be bothered after about 20 minutes. How do people play the one game for MONTHS? IDEK!)

I can't play video games at all now, they just don't hold my interest for more than a few seconds! I have the attention span of a gnat, I think. I blame the computer...

Writing is even harder, and I have a few things on the go which have deadlines and I really should get cracking on with. What am I doing instead? Reading fic, flitting from emails to FB to LJ to Twitter and back, and joining up the GISHWHES thing which is majorly distracting!

Serves me right. Have fun with AO3, it'll be worth it.

Heh... there's shiny new fandom and TONS of fic I haven't read so I'm being distracted all over the place!

I actually like reading stuff on AO3 better - I don't know, I think just the plain white makes my brain hurt less. :)

I love AO3 - I like reading on screen there better than FF.net and LJ, and the downloading facility is wonderful. I think they chose a good default font and layout, nothing fancy.
