-> It's starting to warm up here FINALLY. That winter felt like it went forever. I'm wearing open shoes today! My toes are all confused about what's going on. I think it's also easier to be... happier about things when the sun is shining. I just feel more, I don't know, determined to set things right in my life.

xmenbigbang so I might actually get to the minimum wordcount by the actual deadline and it's really important to me at the moment to finish something, to make a deadline. Also, I just realised that the deadline for the rough drafts is actually AFTER this weekend and not BEFORE which I had stuck in my head for some reason.
-> People have started posting requests for Christmas cards. It CANNOT be that late in the year already can it?? I had stuff I wanted to achieve by December and time is just slipping away like mad. I didn't do the Xmas card thing last year and I missed it - I missed receiving them as well as sending them. I still got a few random surprises in the mail but it wasn't the same. deirdre_c - maybe your birthday package will arrive in time for Xmas, IDEK!!) It was stressful and I ended up sending stuff LATE but it was also fun and I think I'll just have to do eeet. Stay tuned for a request post in the next few days.

-> I may be taking an actual real-life go somewhere HOLIDAY for the first time since I was like, 9 years old next year. Possibly Hawaii in April for a friend's birthday. I might have to eat beans on toast for the next 7 months to swing it because for some reason I earn good money, have a teeny tiny rent and no real debt and STILL HAVE NO CASH. Argh!
