Yesterday I received this in the post!



Now if I could get rid of my stupid cough I might be able to start using it. Maaaaaybe because deirdre_c and brate7 have been so awfully patient, they might just be tortured by my first forays into podficcing in the form of their charity fics. Heh. I don't know yet whether that would actually be a reward.

Hahahaa! It does look a little bit weird and alien. I was going to order a more traditional looking mic but this one was the cheapest and yet best quality I could find. :D

I would have ordered something from Amazon but they refused to ship to my poor little country... boo!!

I just need to get rid of the every-twelve-second cough before I can put something together. I'm soooo close to finishing your story though and I'm hoping the nagging lurgy will clear up in the next couple of days so I can work on it over the weekend!

You've been sooo super patient that I wanted to give you guys something a little extra if I can. I keep swapping between writing snatches of yours and deirdre_c's fic. Believe me, I'm not working on anything else at the moment besides your stories no matter how many things I sign up for like a mad thing. Hee!

I don't know really. I got a recommendation for something else that on Amazon was reasonably priced but it wouldn't ship to the colonies (heh) and it was way too expensive here (as is most technology) but this one seemed pretty good, had some good reviews and was still not completely bank breaking - so that was my criteria mostly.

And it's cute which is always a bonus!
