Hee... I don't often write Sam or Teal'c because I don't feel I have a good handle on them, so *very* chuffed that you liked my Sam... :)
I know what you mean about het vs slash... I started out pretty much het based but because of people *cough* who will remain *cough* nameless *cough*janedavitt*coughsplutter*, I found the way of the slash and now I write more of that... but I do indulge in het and gen from time to time. :)
