Ouch. That hurt, but in a good way. John provoking the guards to protect the others, and the dialogue - it's all great.
(I'm consoling myself with the thought of the sequel where Rodney gets John out of jail somehow, and by some improbable twist of fate they end up in Rodney's magical city, even if this sequel doesn't exist ouside my brain and its obsessive need to fix things.)
