This chapter has that beautiful 'calm before the storm' feel to it. Rodney's reaction to Ronon was great fun. I think one of the things I like best about him (both canon and in this story) is how he acts like a typical coward the does something that just blows you away, and here you caught his funny little scardy cat side. John talking to Daniel about his 'Danielness' made me sad, I think because it just sounded like something Jack should have said, but in this 'verse there isn't that J/D interaction. Of course, Daniel followed that heart to heart with research/lecture mode which I am so happy to see. Rodney noting Elizabeth's isolation was interesting and I wasn't expecting it. But now it's got me thinking, who's gonna get together with her? I can't see anyone still living she can start a slightly dysfunctional relationship with... unless it's an alien or something. Anyhoo, brilliant job and so quick too. PLS
