That was really well done. You took all the things that are awkward and difficult about the show and treated them as something precious and cherished. And subtly, too.
And it's all so compact and casual that it succeeds in being completely dreamlike. But because it's fic, instead of an actual episode, I was deeply worried for their lives... but it is like an actual show... and your story makes me appreciate the actual show all the more.
