After a rough time at work, this was just the pick up I needed. Elizabeth musing on the mental ward that is her senior staff, Rodney saying that he's gonna let the Wraith destroy Atlantis, beautiful moments between Jack & Rodney then Daniel & Ronon cementing the 'going-out/together' bits. Ahh, this was nice in that weird apocalyptic and totally crazy way this whole story has about it. I'm looking forward to Rodney actually telling his plan in detail, with about a thousand snide remarks to everyone in the room, and maybe a few not in the room because he's just that tired, cranky, and stressed out. Is there gonna be like NC-17 bits between Daniel & Ronon in this fic? Because I gotta tell you the idea of those two together is blistering hot.
