You know, after the previous story, I was quite sad that Daniel didn't have anyone anymore. I wasn't sure I liked the idea of him being alone, in particular since he so obviously needed someone - well, okay, who doesn't but Daniel is my favourite character and it really hurt me in his case :-) And here you go, giving Daniel a lover - or someone who's definitely on the road that is - and it's the kind of alpha male I love with my Daniel, someone strong enough to actually fight against Daniel's crazyness and pain and you know, it fucking works, and I'm happily reading again.
So all that to say, I positively love what you're doing with Daniel's storyline and I'm enjoying the ride ;-)
