taking a small element of the original story and kind of spinning outwards. I can't speak for your remixee obviously, but I ADORE it when people do that with fics. I would say with my fics, but so far (sadly) no one's done that with anything of mine they've remixed.
Ha... like, in poisontaster's Live Free or Die Hard 'verse I've got this whole scenario worked out where Matt accidentally runs into Jack's current partner in a Starbucks. OMG WRITE IT!! Srsly. WRITE IT. I would glee like no one had ever gleed before.
I lie to myself about my WIPs. I do. And someday it MAY turn out to be true, which is why I continue to lie to myself about it? I never know when I'll just suddenly get THE INSPIRATION to suddenly go back to something I haven't looked at in years. So I lie. And hope it will become the truth. :D
