My favorite story of mine this year: Probably the Clint/Darcy the best of life is but intoxication. I just buy this pairing, I think every story I've read for this pairing has made me smile and I want them to be happy. I remember it being easy to write, basically writing itself.
My best story: Probably life as a treehouse because it was one of those rare instances where the story ended up coming out on the page the same way it played out in my head.
Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: I can't say anything was underappreciated in all honesty. I'm flattered and honored that stuff receives any and all response and I'm nowhere near as prolific as I used to be or want to be still.
Most fun story: Frankie Says Relax where Darcy becomes the personal assistant of all the Avengers. Again, writing/thinking about Darcy/Clint just makes me smile. Honorable mentions would be the Steve/Tony roleplaying AU 99 problems (and the dice ain't one) and the TW ticket for littering because the Stiles voice is SO fun. I keep meaning to write a Derek POV but Stiles just comes naturally.
Most sexy story: Hmmm... I'm generally a fade-to-blacker, probably to the constant consternation of EVERYONE but I would have to say for this pretty in tents because while that was mostly a pack!feels rom!com of the pretending to be a couple trope, it did have the whole scent-marking bathroom HJ and that's me definitely skirting outside my comfort zone. I think werewolves are my favorite of the supernaturals because scent-marking, UNF.
"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: I don't have anything like that I don't think!
Story with single sexiest moment: pretty in tents scent-marking bathroom HJ all the way!
Story with single sweetest moment: life as a treehouse for Tony making Clint a treehouse. I kind of feel like Clint isn't cared for enough and I wanted to do that.
Most unintentionally *telling* story: howls of protest was a not-so-telling try at me trying to rationalize canonical Derek/Stiles.
Fic that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: jealousy is all the fun you think they had is me trying to settle the Steve/Bucky relationship in my head, that there is love there, possibly romantic once but it's passed with time.
Biggest disappointment: I did rush a story for a challenge and I'm not satisfied with it but the requestor was happy and it got good response so I don't feel it's right to highlight it.
Biggest surprise: WRITING TEEN WOLF ZOMG.
Hardest story to write: Again, challenge fics. I'm starting to think that I might have to bow out of exchanges because I'm starting to find them harder.
Easiest story to write: 99 problems (and the dice ain't one). Welcome back my good old roleplaying days.
This year's theme and the story that demonstrates it most: Theme? I don't think I had one other than maybe AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, oh wait, finished. :D That's probably any Big Bangs I wrote this year.
