What I'm reading...

This isn't actually *everything* I've read lately (or not so lately) and wanted to rec... mostly because I accidentally deleted my recent recs list instead of my old one. *slaps forehead* By the way, the following are a bit eclectic... I'm sure I had these in some kind of order but buggered if I can remember what it was...

But anyway...

Stark and hurty and pretty Dragging Anchor (SG-1 - Sam/Jack, Sam/Cameron UST). Jack realises what he's lost as he watches his old teammates move about in an intricate dance he's no longer a part of... or is he? By surrealphantast

This is an older piece - All Things Bright And Beautiful by angstslashhope (SPN - very mild Dean/Sam right at the end but give it a chance) is a wonderful little tale told from the POV of Sam's threadbare, one-eyed childhood rabbit called Mr Bun and spans a number of years. The first thing you’re aware of is something touching you. Holding you. Gripping more like; hands. Tiny hands. That’s the first sensation.

Anytime janedavitt writes Jack/Daniel (SG-1), my little heart skips a beat. Choices

I'm of the opinion that there is not enough Jim/Ryan (The Office) in the world so whenever someone writes my little fix, I squee like I'm fifteen and still have Balthazar Getty pictures on my bedroom wall (does that age me horribly??) Not In Love With The Modern World by sophia_helix. Jim and Ryan get stoned. This was perfect character voice for both.

I really enjoyed dolimir_k's Broughten that is SPN Gen. I'm mostly about the gen in this fandom and this is a good example. A simple snowball fight that switches to the serious nature of the boy's relationship and then switches back again like a snake biting its own tail. This is how the Winchesters talk.

Finally, an adorably cute John/Rodney(SGA) That Which Has To Be Proven. Extra points for use of the word syllogism because I can't shake my love of words that sound dirty and aren't.
