It's a new interview, I'm sure - I saw someone mention him saying at one of the recent cons that his dog had just had surgery, which fits what he says here.
And yeah, I don't normally bother that much with interviews, but this was just happy-making. Now I want to see Sam dress as Dean for Halloween!!
