Yes, exactly. This is what I hope the writers deal with. Just because there's a reset button and Dean's alive, as long as Sam remembers those months watching Dean die, living with Dean dead, he will be grieving. It seems nonsensical, with Dean right there, but it happened. The body knows, and it and the mind have to work through it. Not to mention all the changes Sam underwent just to survive, alone.
This is an excellent look at Sam partway through the process. Well done.
