I know... I'm not sure where the fanon Sam akwardness came from... he can't be shy because he's always the first one interviewing witnesses etc... His first kind of *stumbling* attempts with girls in the series I felt was because he was sort-of in his mind betraying Jess (especially with Sarah) but there was no real stumbling when it came to Madison. I felt like there Sam was just trying to not be Dean and hit on the victim and the victim was making it hard for him to be "good"... hehehee... :)
