Here are my answers to the question meme...

---

How many times do you think one has to move to actually get good at it?

I don't know if there's a definite number but I have moved ten times since I was seventeen (I'm 31 now...) so I'm well practiced. :)

Do you throw a lot of things out when you move?

I've completely lost all bower bird tendencies with the multiple moves so no, I don't throw a lot out when I move because I throw things out as soon as I'm not using them during... My parents have old kids books and toys of mine at their place and I hang on to photos and books, but nothing else.

I seem to recall that you were quite unhappy about taking apart your bed for the move. What kind of bed is it?

It's a wrought iron bed with wooden slat base. You have to unscrew all the bits with a wrench and every single piece is heavy. Guarenteed I drop something on my foot/hand/head every time I take the damn thing apart.

How tall are you?

5 foot 6 I think... last time I checked.

What is ur fave OTP of all time ?

Technically I don't have an OTP... I'm kind of an equal opportunity shipper. As long as someone I like is getting it one with someone else I like then yeehaw. However, if pressed, I would have to say Dean/Rory from Gilmore Girls. He's the boyfriend we all wanted when we were growing up. Tall and pretty and completely in love with us.

If you could meet one person (living or dead) who would it be and why?

I know it sounds kinda hokey, but Stephen King. Yes, he writes about butt monsters and killer threshing machines but this is also the man who wrote Lean On Me, The Shawshank Redemption and Misery. I know a lot of people who re-read LOTR a lot. I reread The Stand, probably once a year. This is a man who persisted, who got knocked back hundreds of times but knew deep down what he was meant to do so kept at it. He is a reader's writer. He's kinda goofy looking and a bit of a nerd but there's real love for his craft there. I want to be that kind of writer... although you won't catch me writing about clowns ever... !!

And my question, what are the things Cameron doesn't like about SG-1?

He doesn't like how after all this time, he sometimes still feels like a little bit of an outsider. They change when Jack is around. Daniel and Sam have their own language, short-handed with time and familiarity. Teal'c is only really half there now, thoughts always with his own people.

What do you think is your best quality?

That's a hardie. My loyalty I think?

About Wing!verse...

1. Are the boys just squatting in Jim Murphy’s farmhouse? I mean, is some heir going to show up one day and wonder why the winged man is in Uncle Jim's farmhouse? Is the place in probate, are the taxes being paid...that sort of thing. Also, I remember seeing a screencap of the farm and it looked pretty run down. Are the boys going to paint the place or work on it at all?

Yes, technically they're squatting. They're actually unaware that Jim did in fact title the farm to them in his will. They're not exactly on the radar for authorities to track them down and tell them about it though. It is fairly run down. Dean and Sam are slowly fixing it up but they're working on the inside out so it actually looks quite comfortable on the inner while still looking fairly run down on the outside. Most of the surrounding fields are overgrown and the barn that Sam took his header off when he first flew is falling down. Dean would love to get some horses but Sam's resistant, although he's being worn down.

In one of the earlier stories I think Dean left to hunt alone for several months. How does Sam support himself when Dean is gone? Does Dean send back money or does Sam have some way to generate income?

Dean was sending back money, pretty much everything he could. He relied mostly on the credit cards when he was travelling so he could send any cash to Sam. Sam's now getting pretty antsy about being kept, mostly sick of the housewife jokes. He's started looking into becoming an online tutor for classical languages and history. They don't have internet out at the farm but he can work from the library in town and likes the idea of having a job to go to.

Oh lord! Your wing!Sam can make me melt even when he's just thinking about being productive! I want Sam to be tutor me in classica languages :sigh:

Is there going to be more wingfic? I was re-reading the series last night and came over to see if you'd done any more.

I really enjoy it.

Yes, most definitely. :) I'm currently writing a birthday fic which is wing!fic and there's another longer piece that I've drafted out.
