I like the idea of this one... :)
Give me the names of two characters and I will tell you why character A loves character B. I might answer with a drabble, a quick bit of meta, or a list, just to make things that tiny bit more OMGSOEXCITING!.
Go ahead... I have the day off today and it's either do this or clean my house... I'm choosing this!!

and no, not normally a femslash chick, but the intrigue of who would take the Alpha Role just fascinates me...

Here's a snippet to beg your indulgence... :)
----
“Are you squatting?” John asks, accepting the Styrofoam cup of coffee that had to come out of a machine somewhere.
The woman looks down at herself and then back up and looks puzzled. “I thought it was called standing,” she says and John snorts.
“I mean in this place. It’s not supposed to be occupied.”
“I’m waiting for a friend,” she replies cryptically, resting a hand on top of the freaky-looking toy that John is sure is the reason the kids of the neighbourhood are scared witless of the place. It looks like a toad in clothes and he wonders who in their right mind would manufacture something like that. John is pretty hardened but he has to admit that it’s freaking him out, especially the way it seems to move whenever he’s not looking directly at it.
“You have a name?”
“Aeryn Sun,” she replies. She’s wearing a wifebeater and jeans and looks strangely uncomfortable. There are large and complicated looking boots on her feet and John eyes them appreciatively, thinking Dean would like them.
“I’m sorry about barging in like I did. I’m with the EPA and I was getting reports of a dangerous leak in the area.” Aeryn just looks more confused when John feeds her the cover story. He reaches into his jacket for the badge he’d chosen to go with but she tenses and moves fast, bringing out a solid-looking black weapon. It’s stubby and thick, looks like something out of a sci-fi movie and John puts his hands back out where she can see them.
“Sorry, I was just going to show you some ID,” he says but Aeryn doesn’t drop her weapon.
“Just shoot him for frell’s sake!” the toy chirps from the sagging couch and John feels like he’s going to faint for the first time in his life.
