OH hooray – McKay! And I thought the slow back down of tension between Shep and Dean was very nicely done. Those two could very easily rub each other the wrong way and have a million missteps trying to correct those bad first impressions.
Ronon – it is such a treat to read Ronon being interesting or useful or, you know, INVOLVED. I would adore this for the Ronon bits alone.
And things go to hell. Sort of a given in both of these universes. You’ve got 10 problems, solve 8 of them, making headway on the other 2 and then number 11 comes and bollocks up the whole works.
Still loving this. Still jealous as all get out about how tight and twisty this one is. It’s been a while since I’ve read something and I can actually taste the envy in the back of my throat, wishing I’d written something half as good.
