-> My first [livejournal.com profile] marvel_bang story goes up in a week and a day! The art is completely ADORABLE you guys, I had two illustrators for this and they totally knocked it out of the park. (the second story has a vid trailer... eeeeeee!)

-> I've started writing my [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_xmas fic and I feel like I've lost my J2 mojo. It's just kind of reading flat to me... I might have to bombard [livejournal.com profile] deirdre_c's inbox with this thing because it's totes her fault I'm doing this. :D Got my Avengers Xmas exchange assignment and I'm... a little stumped. I'm not sure how I got matched with this requestor considering my do-not-write list... but I will get it done... I think. *chews fists*

-> What I'm writing:

Posting: the Teen Wolf Derek/Stiles fake-relationship story tonight. \o/

In progress: Teen Wolf AU: The human-lycan war was long and bloody, with no real victor. Instead, the land was split into ever-shifting domains, the werewolves controlling what was called the Crescent Territory and the humans holding onto the Silver Territory.

He gets Lydia's surprise. Markus was a likeminded Alpha to him, thinking of most of his humans as pack rather than property. He also took on an attendant only because his mate Tanya had badgered him about the impropriety of not having one, always worried about appearances and their pack standing and Markus had finally caved after years and had bought a goofy-looking kid from the middle of nowhere who had no other prospects.

Stilinski had been with Markus since he was fourteen. Markus had often talked about Stilinski in the darkest hours and at the bottom of a bottle and the love, even then, was apparent.

Markus had adored Stilinski, so much so that according to rumor, Tanya had regretted ever making Markus take him on in the first place.

Now Markus, having lost most of his territory in a challenge, was required to offload everything he owned to pay out a settlement to the Alpha that had bested him to save his pack from military service. He would not be destitute by any stretch of the imagination, but he would also take a long time to start again.

"I've heard alot about this kid," Derek says mildly. "He won't survive going into Service, whether it's the Cage or the Skin."

"That's..." Lydia makes a helpless gesture with her hands. "I know what you're trying to do and I respect it, but I have a duty to protect this household and all in it and I've gotta tell you that I think this is just not what we need right now."

"Harris has managed to talk them down in price and also switch his status to house servant to avoid the fifteen percent bump. It helps that he's untrained so Tanya knows she would've had trouble passing him off as an attendant anyway. She's snatched an opportunity to get rid of him and her desperation is to our benefit."

"Is she offloading her own attendant?" Lydia asks, curious and Derek rolls his eyes.

"Nope. She's given him the bite."

Lydia looks a little shocked by that. It's not unheard of for humans to earn a place in a pack, but if her attendant was offered the chance, it's strange that Stilinski wasn't, especially when Markus had cared about him so much. Derek gives Lydia an I don't know either look.

"So, okay. What are we going to do with him? If you couldn't tell from the fact that Allison spends most days on her cute little butt, we're currently overstaffed."

Sookie!Stiles:

When Stiles is six years old, he asks his dad what bazoombas are and why he thinks Mrs. Fenkle has fantastic ones. He asks only because he thinks they might be a type of cookie, and maybe his father has been holding out because the only cookies Mrs Fenkle gives him are dry as dust and only taken under protest or what Stiles' mother calls being polite.

Stiles' dad chokes a little on his coffee and then wipes his streaming eyes and asks just where Stiles heard that.

Stiles, being all of six and not quite understanding such things, innocently tells his dad from your head.

Oooh! You're continuing on with the mind reader!Stiles story. Wonderful!

I'm looking forward to the new story tonight and the one you gave us the teaser for. That one sounds excellent.

Teen Wolf kind of eats your brain doesn't it? Can't wait to read all three of the ones you mentioned here. Given I love all your other fic I'm sure they'll be fantastic.
Hope you get your J2 mojo back...I know sometimes when you wander away from a fandom it's really hard to get back into it.

I don't know whether I'm being too critical of it...! :D

I love stories with powers!Stiles. S2 gave us a tiny peek of a possible new aspect of Stiles and then it just dwindled away to nothing. It's like they left everything else on the editing floor. I hope we get to see something of it next season. Supposedly they are giving Stiles a separate storyline. I hope it has something to do with that.

Ooooh I cannot wait for your [community profile] marvel_bang! Can you give us a hint of what it is about? The pairing at least? Pretty please :D

This is the one for the 31st (I have 2... aaaaah!):

Title: 99 problems (and the dice ain't one)
Genre: No powers Alternate Universe with roleplaying
Characters/Pairings: Steve/Tony, Clint/Coulson, Darcy/Bruce
Summary:

Tony's life is almost perfect. He lives in a converted warehouse full of friends (and one frenemy), has a job that leaves him plenty of time to think about other things and a regular Friday night campaign. If his best friend, Steve Rogers, hadn't moved away to New York and left him behind, then perfection would've been achieved.

Tony can roll with the punches though and he's almost all the way over that little bump in the road (shut up Bruce, he totally is) when Steve moves back, looking taller and broader and more confident than ever and Tony's left with a converted warehouse full of friends (and one frenemy), a job that leaves him plenty of time to think about other things, a regular Friday night campaign and the uncomfortable realization that maybe he's in love with his best friend and has been since he was sixteen.
