Hmmmm... I think I don't tend to ship if I get enough emotional fulfillment from the show/movie itself. I don't feel fannish per se about everything. I LOVE Big Bang Theory but I've never felt compelled to read stories. Buffy and Angel again I adored but I never really felt the need to seek out fannish content because I was getting enough from the shows themselves.
