writing breaks my hand; nearly done; reccing; banging

-> Writing about 13k of various stories over the last three days might not have been the best plan when only out of DOOM!cast for about a week. I woke up yesterday and could hardly move my wrist at all and had shooting pains all the way up to my elbow. Rested it a bit yesterday and it seems to have recovered a little. I just... NEED TO WRITE ALL THE THINGS.

-> Finished the next Clint/Darcy fic that is just going through a clean-up and need a title. Remind me why I can't name all my stories after novelty t-shirts??

-> I'm driving the Avengers!franchise crack_van in July and it's the first one for it being a permanent rec fandom so I'm doing an overview. I'm going to be picking all the Avengers peeps braaaaains to help me with this thing because I have to do a character run-down, comms and resources listing.

-> Signed up for TWO stories for marvel_bang. Steve/Tony story is about 5-6k in but I am still conflicted about which Clint/Coulson story I want to write for it because I've had two ideas.



HAWK.I - A very loose Bladerunner!AU - Coulson is a hunter of OTGs (off the grid Imitants). He's hunting a Black Widow and gets assigned Agent Barton to partner him by Fury. Agent Barton has no idea he's actually a HAWK.I

Untitled - In a world where humans are living in walled cities called Arks because of a monstrous scourge that has arisen, unique individuals are sent out into the Deadlands to kull these monsters. The individuals are known as Agents, always partnered with Handlers who are a voice on the line and more often than not, a warm body in the bed.

For the record feel free to name as many of your fics after novelty t-shirts as you want. It's always entertaining to me when people use stuff like that for story titles instead of like just song lyrics or something y'know relevent to the story or something. I also appreciate random not terribly serious quotes. Which story is it? Would you be averse to suggestions?

As for the Clint/Coulson story I'm sure either would be fantastic...HAWK.I however intrigues me slightly more though.

Also hope your wrist feels better. You could always get a light brace for it just to support it a little while you're typing or whatever. I used to have one I wore when my wrist would start bugging me.

I'm going against what has been said in comment here, because if I do want to read both of those Clint/Coulson, I'm intrigued by the second a bit more. BUT... EITHER/OR, you know?

Personally, I have to say I'm very intrigued by Untitled. Both sound amazing, though, and HAWK.I sounds like it might be a little further along in term of plotting than Untitled (if only becase it already has a name!).

Since marvel_bang has a deadline, why not go for the one you're further along with? That way you get to work on the one that's hottest in your mind and the other gets a chance to percolate a bit more?

Both those BB ideas sound great - the untitled one sounds a bit like the relationship between handler and agent in Dollhouse...
