Back at work... ho hum...
Back at work... no chrissie break for me. /sucks out loud
I really need a job where I can actually take time off in December but I think it's been about 10 years since I've achieved this.
So, Christmas five by five...
Of The Good
-> My first turkey dinner went perfectly. Everyone ate seconds so I must have done something right. I even gave leftover turkey to my mum. My mum. That's a weird parallel kind of universe thing right there.
-> I got jewllery from friends. I never get gifts like that, it's usually dvds and the like but the pure thoughtfulness of what they picked out made me all sniffly.
-> I got books. I got books I wanted. I got books that weren't book 5 of a 12 book set (?!?). *hugs them*
-> I pretty much managed to see everyone that is important to me in the space of three days (barring my lovelies who are overseas and I miss terribly and everyday). *glee*
-> How good is Heroes?? I watched 'Six Months' and 'Fallout' last night and I... I'm completely head over heels in love with this show. Also, it's weird because I hated Jess in Gilmore Girls but I *love* Peter... huh.
Of the Bad
-> I got given S2 of Battlestar as a present and the third disc is fucked. Won't play at all. AAAAIIIEEEEE!!! What's more tragic? That's the disc whose episodes I was UP TO!!!! *cries*
-> I'm at work. 'Nuff said.

As for Heroes... OMGosh!!! Someone told me a couple of days ago that all the eps were on the NBC website, so I watched them. I finished ep 11 tonight. Wow. I'm definitely hooked.

Heroes is appointment TV around here (especially since it comes on right before Studio 60). Hiro is my favorite.
