There has *got* to be a better way to delete the hundreds of messages out of the message centre otherr than clicking on the top of each page and clicking delete.

I have 64 pages at the moment and that's after deleting a bunch... Please tell me there is a better way to do this... there is a 'mark all read' function... why is there not a delete all??

Dude if you find it, let me know. I went through 47 pages and deleted them all individually. Am not getting behind on it again.!! *headdes*

There's isn't. People keep asking for one in lj_news and lj_releases posts, and ... nothing yet. I have 134 pages of them, because my current theory is to ignore the message center altogether and let lj deal with the server load if they care. I get emails of everything, so I'm cool.

I think the oldest messages are supposed to delete when you hit a certain number, though. Five thousand, maybe?
