Someone more technically minded than myself... that ain't hard

I saw someone post a recs post the other day and when you hovered over the title of the story you could see the summary in a bubble.

Does anyone know how to do that? I wanted to finish off the final Masterlist for [livejournal.com profile] ae_match over the weekend and I would love to do something like that...

I can't remember where I saw it durn it! :)

It's (a href="LINK" title="DESCRIPTION") with <'s instead of parenthesis. :)

Do you then use the "name"(/a) to have the actual link title?

Yus. So it would be like:

(a href="LINK" title="DESCRIPTION")this is a fic by some awesome person!(/a)

I think they had it that way at sd-recs. Maybe that would work as an example. I can't figure out how to see them on my ipad but didn't have trouble on the computer. It seems to save a lot of room on the page.

A couple of months ago I posted to LiveJournal support to see if someone could answer the question on how to create 'rollover definitions'. This is the answer I got:

You can do this using the HTML tag as follows:
example.

Whoops! That didn't work. *G* I haven't actually used it yet. Hang on a sec. - hey, it works!:

(abbr title="your hidden words here")word to hover over here(/abbr)

Replace the () with <> of course.
