Podficcing across the universe

Okay, so I've had a bash and it was fun and MUCH easier than I was expecting. (I am not saying it is easy by any stretch of the imagination - just the software was not brain-dentingly difficult like I'd imagined).

So, two things.

- What story(ies) should make with the pod of the fic? (Of mine) What would you like to hear?

- Anyone want to volunteer their own stuff up for my ministrations?? ([livejournal.com profile] tabaqui - I've already got you volunteering your stuff IN WRITING and I'm holding you to it... but I'm thinking I would love to do either Treadmill or the 'nam story so I might need a LEETLE practice before I attempt something like that.)

I'd been starting to feel a little blah about online stuff (since my RL was so downright barmily BAD for a while there) but having something new and shiny is helping.

Happy belated 4th to my US flisties. The Kentucky flatmate tried to tell me that it was a tradition to watch Independance Day on repeat to mark the occassion but I'm dubious.

The movie thing might be a personal tradition. Some average ones that are common all over the US are more like barbecues, fireworks, parades...specific places might have specific traditions just like certain people having thier own too.

Hee... I know he is making stuff up for he is sneaky!

Both those stories have naughty bits so I will have to wait until the flatmates are out of the house or they might start wondering what I really do for a living... hehehee!

And, completely self-serving, I'd love to have all of the SGA/SPN crossover stories podficced!

In case you are interested, there are posts at [livejournal.com profile] amplificathon where authors are encouraged to comment and say that they give blanket permission. It's a whole collection of people offering their work up for podficcing! \o/ The posts are here on LJ and on DW.

Same, same!

I've just joined that comm and was going to add my name to the authors giving permission because it's always lovely. There's some of my stuff podficced and it's just weird in a great way to hear someone interpreting your story.
