I've been seeing these posted already. This is me. Thought I was writing a werewolf AU didn't you?? Who has 2 thumbs, scrapped her original story at the 10k mark and started again?

Jared Padalecki is born with power into a world of superheroes, but when you’re a minor player in a world of champions it’s easy to lose your way. Assigned a sidekick, Jensen, that seems to find him exasperating and part of a team that couldn’t fight their way out of a wet paper bag, Jared starts thinking that maybe all he’s destined for is obscurity.

When The Fisher, the worst supervillain Upper Montopolis has ever seen manages to wipe out nearly all of the major superheroes in the city, it’s time for Jared and a reluctant Jensen to step up; to find the heroes within a mismatched group who have always been told that they don’t quite measure up, but Jensen is keeping a secret that threatens to destroy them all.

Next step? Basically tear out the structure and fix the whole damn thing from the basement up. Grammer dilemmas, tense changes, swapping Chad for Milo ahoy!

Honestly, I just didn't think I was going to be able to write the story I wanted to with the time I had left and now I have it free from a minimum wordcount I'm definitely going to finish it and not be stressing that I'm padding it unnecessarily. It'll be my next TO FINISH once the 2 charity fics are done.
