We're waiting anxiously to find out about a friend's entire family - I feel so powerless and I know it's only a little thing but at least I feel like I'm doing something.
I was touched by the support for the QLD floods too and just amazed by people's willingness to do anything they can to help, even from across the ocean.
Yeah I'm okay and all my friends and family are okay, and you can't ask for much more than that. I hope your friend's family are okay too. Chances are they're fine, it's just the waiting that sucks. And the clean-up. Mud *everywhere*.
People are amazing. It's really great to be helped like this.
