If only I could go back and do it all again...

I am introducing Boy to Supernatural today. I gotta tell you I'm nervous because if he doesn't like it and I have to choose between them then I know who's going to win.

Rhymes with Bimchester.

/kidding.

.... sort of.

On Supernatural, I have a confession to make. I haven't actually watched an episode since Yellow Fevor. It's not because I've abandoned Show in any way, I have all the eps ready to go, I just... I'm not sure. Maybe I'm saving them. Maybe I don't want to get Kripke'd while I'm writing Big Bang (I can plead ignorance if I do... ha!) or maybe now I can because we know there'll be a S5. I might have been unconsciously saving them just in case.

A friend of mine is watching Buffy for the first time and I think about how awesome it would be to be watching that show for the First Time. Maybe that's what I'm doing with these eps, because there's nothing like the First Time you watch them and I'm stretching it out as long as possible.

It's silly though, because there's a lot of fic I haven't read that I would've wanted to because I don't want to spoil myself.

In other news, I've always been more of a dog-person but having a cat squish itself between your leg and the loungearm and then purr happily because apparently it's the best thing EVA makes me realise that while I'm a dog person, I'm also a Sammy (my cat) person. I never actually meant to own a cat but my flatmate adopted her because she was abandoned and now I couldn't imagine being without her. Nothing cracks me up like her falling asleep on her back with her legs akimbo.

Cats totally rock.

I love dogs, but I miss my kitties something fierce. cats are independant and affectionate, the best of both worlds.

I've had my cat for 8 years, and I'm still completely fascinated by how adorable and hilarious she is. Kitties rule. :)

I always thought I liked dogs better, but I am currently sitting sideways on my couch and my kitty is curled up behind my knees with his head resting on my foot - his favorite place to nap. He's more cuddly than any dog I've ever had!

Anyways, you know, I support your Supernatural viewing decision. I started watching Farscape during its final season, and was able to go back and watch the entire show and then jump into the last season and then miniseries, and I think it was a better viewing experience than it would have been otherwise. Things that probably would've driven me nuts didn't because I knew an end was coming. Unfortunately, I also think David Kemper was a league above Kripke in the storytelling department. I watched Farscape for the story. I was Supernatural for the dynamic between Sam and Dean, which I think is more to the credit of Jared and Jensen (and Robert Singer) than Kripke.

Wow, you have a stronger will than me.

My cat, Jenny, likes to curl up in my lap while I'm sitting on my bed. She fits in perfectly under my chin. It's cute for the first few minutes.
