More rambling about two things. Firstly, I'm pitch-hitting for spn_j2_xmas so if you haven't got a pressie yet, don't read.



Get away with writing a Jared/Jensen surf lifesaver AU when all I know about lifesavers I learnt from the show Bondi Rescue? Oh, and I can totally call them lifesavers instead of life guards because they will be in Australia. Ha! One of my requestors prompts was Jared abroad while taking a break from college. I think she actually specified that Jared was studying abroad but hopefully she won't mind I'm kind of fluffing it.

Anyway, Jared will be working a summer on an Australian beach (of which I will totally make up as a smooshed together amalgamation of all my favourite beaches in a made up beachside town which I will resist the urge to call Summer Bay... har har!) and Jensen will be the veteran who gives him a hard time and then of course there will be misunderstanding and attractions and all the normal ROMCOM fare.

Oh, and Jared misunderstanding local slang.

"What's rooting? It sounds painful."

"Then you're doing it wrong."



And then of course, there's still thinking about Big Bang and I've had a radically different idea. I'd still like to write the other story some day but I'm not sure it can be my Big Bang story. But this... have I really gone over to the dark side if I write

Jared/Jensen RPS Big Bang.

But...but... my idea will be urban fantasy apocafic AU. And I kind of got excited and have written a bit and... eee!

Jared starts the story off in a tank and Jensen has just gotten mugged by a girl. What could be better?

1. Nooo... Summer Bay is from the show Home And Away. The David Wenham show is Seachange but buggered if I can remember what the town was called in that.
