How I Met Your Mother is such a crappy and trite idea on paper but the show itself is so cute and funny and dorktastic. They're currently showing I think season 2 here every week night and I keep seeing eps I forgot, like Slap Fight. Doesn't anyone else get the feeling that Lily would let Marshall and Barney get away with anything if she got something fun out of it, like Marshall says, "Barney gets to dick me in the eye if I lose the bet but you get a wand and a matching tiara for the ceremony" and Lily would be like "Barney, let me pull those pants down for you!"

You know what ending I want to see to this show? Ted saying, "And that's how I met Barney" and Barney complaining, "Ted, would you stop calling me their Mother!"

I started watching this for Allyson Hannigan, and then renewed my very old NPH crush (oh, Doogie!). I actually have the first two seasons on DVD cos they make me smile.
