Oh for Peter O'Toole's sake!

Do any Aussies know what happened to Supernatural? Are we just not getting the last 2 eps leading up to hiatus ala Heroes last season??

I was being good and watching it on tele and enjoying it week to week and then they do this yet again.

According to the channel Ten forums (http://forums.ten.com.au/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=88878&tstart=0) there won't be any more episodes this year.

At this stage there are no more episodes scheduled of Supernatural for the rest of the year. The reason for this is that we're about to go into our summer period where less people watch tv.

It will return next year.

It's the Good News Week season finale tonight. It goes for 2 hours. I guess Supernatural will be back next week.

Non-ratings starts next week, I think, or the week after, and it's the 2 hour GNW finale tonight, so, nope, no more episodes this year.

And this is always going to be the problem with them fasttracking, we go into non-ratings before we finish the episodes that are available.

TV Week, which I'm sure knows all about such matters as these, says:

There is no episode of Supernatural this week due to Ten's two-hour Good News Week finale, so last week's episode eight is the last we'll see of the Winchesters until 2009. However, more episodes will air in the States during November, December and January.

We don't get 4.09 or 4.10 - and how I'm going to stay spoiler-free over summer I do not know. May have to take an LJ hiatus.

Nice people have offered this to me, but I was ordained so recently and made so many promises to God and the church ... While the church is happy for me to break the law to hide Jews from Nazis or to protest against apartheid I'm just not sure that getting episodes of Supernatural comes under purposes of "civil disobedience for which ministers can break the law".

Hi, I tend to just lurk here and re-read all your stories, but i just needed to delurk to say how jealous I am. In NZ we have only had Season 1. And everytime I email TVNZ, the response is "Season 2 will air later this year". It's Nov 25 and I'm still waiting- or I would be if I hadn't cheated and bought the dvd from Australia. And the worst part is out of the 7 nights a week, TV2 show movies on FOUR of them- surely we can live without the millionth repeat of a movie and get Supernatural instead?

*cough* Sorry for the rantness, I will now just go re-read your SGA 'Bear' stories and cheer myself up. (did I mention how much I love your stories?)
