Death Primer
This is the Death Primer for my upcoming SPN/Discworld crossover. I got some requests for a quick rundown when mentioning writing this story so feel free to skip if you know all about this.
Death is a Grim Reaper, or the Grim Reaper. A harvester of souls, surcease of pain and strangely enough, a pretty decent bloke all things told. He is efficient but not cruel, and sees his job as a necessary public service.
He is fond of cats (who can see him at all times) and curry (although he doesn't need to eat). He lives in an extradimensional realm called Death's Domain. Within the domain, his home looks like a normal upper middle class Victorian house with a garden, (with little skeletal Garden Gnomes, as well as skeletal fish in a pond), that is well-tended, but is predominantly black and decorated with a skull and crossbone motif.
Death is unduly fascinated by humanity, so much so that he adopted a girl named Ysabell who ended up marrying his one try at an apprentice named Mort. He has on occasion bent the rules to allow someone extra life, most notably his manservant Albert who was taken from the world right before he died and had a handful of days left that he uses slices of every now and again to return to the world.
Death has a pale steed named Binky, because Death thought Binky was A NICE NAME. Binky can fly as well as travel through time and across dimensions.
