'I Hate Mondays'

Jack was first.

"Have you seen that thing?"

"What thing?" Daniel looked up from the notes he'd been scribbling.

"The thing we need for the debrief today. Maybe Sam has it." With that, Jack was gone. Daniel, only a third of the way through his first coffee of the morning, was left blinking and mystified.

Sam appeared in his doorway next.

"The General's looking for that thing," she said brightly.

"Sam, I don't-"

"I gave it to you yesterday," Sam clarified.

"If you tell me what-"

"Oh, no wait, I gave it to Teal'c." Sam departed with a cheery wave.

"You guys are doing this on purpose!" Daniel yelled at her retreating form.

Teal'c was the last to shadow his doorway.

"You haven't come looking for it to, have you?" Daniel asked, raising an eyebrow in suspicion.

"Of course not, I know exactly where it is," Teal'c smiled.

Daniel thumped his head to the desk. He really hated Mondays.
