The six by six...

dark3princess. Post 6 very random facts about yourself then you tag 6 people on your friend list to do the same.
1. I'm right-handed but because I have a dodgy shoulder I use my left for my mouse and people who see me do it say, "Oooh, I didn't know you were left handed."
2. I'm not a sun-bronzed Aussie. I'm Irish winter pale. Like, when people see me in the daylight they feel it necessary to say, "Wow, you are really pale."
3. I've never actually had a pet. I wish some day to rectify this.
4. I've never been out of Australia. I wish some day to rectify this.
5. My favourite ever book, the one I re-read once a year is The Stand. (yeah, I can here you all defriending me from here... heh) I will always love Stephen King, no matter how many space ass-worms he writes about.
6. I have my eyebrow pierced. Yes, random strangers on the street who repeatedly ask me, it's my only piercing.
Tagging... everyone.

Did you read Lisey's Story? I loved that book. So, so good. There's a story line in that particular book that, at least to me, is what John Winchester and his boys could have turned out to be if things had been just a little bit different.

I do exactly the same thing! Partially because I'm an accountant and I can mouse with my left and use the number pad with my right. But also because I broke my right shoulder a few years back and lost most of the use of my right arm for a while.
Drives the IT folks who try to work on my computer nuts! I get the same 'left handed' remarks.

5) Space ass-worms! It's the only King book I've read, but I am all about Dreamcatcher (now I wonder how many other ass-worms he's written....)

Re: #3
Pets are wonderful. This icon is my Sparkle. You may borrow her for a day or more, if you wish. =>}
Re: #4
I think there are a lot of people who've never been out of their country.
Re: # 5.
I read The Stand when it first came out and it had a profound effect on me for a long time. In fact, I think it can qualify as literature and not just "another Stephen King novel", as some might call them. He can be an EXCELLENT writer. *g*
That is all.

I've never been out of the US. Not even to Canadia (which is about 6 hours from where I live now) or Mexico, and I've been to San Diego (which is spitting distance from Tijuana) 4 or 5 times now.
I've always wanted to go to Oz. I've got friends in and around Melbourne, and there's a yearly conference there that my friends would love me to come speak at. Sadly, I'm not sure my health would ever stand the flight...
My favourite ever book, the one I re-read once a year is The Stand.
The Stand is, I think, the best thing he ever did. I'm currently rereading Needful Things.
& I really gotta write the other two sga/sg1/the stand fics on my plate. *sigh*
