I reread your story last night and I'm sorry to say...I want to see a story with Rodney as a Kodiak bear cub. It just keeps going around in my mind (and it's tax time here, I need to be able to concentrate!).
He'd be a bigger bear cub than the other guys were and be able to get into more mischief. Rodney is kind of a sturdy, broad-shouldered guy and the bear cub would be too. And Kodiaks as pretty scary once grown (not that tall, males only about 5 ft but BIG; males can weigh 1500 pounds when adults). Brown fur like Rodney's hair. They can roar really loud too, like Rodney when he's angry. They're mostly vegetarian (berries, seaweed and such) except for salmon in the summer and carrion when it's around.
