Apparently there IS a post credit scene in the Avengers?? Are people on my flist joking???

The first time I saw it we were waiting for it and the ushers laughed and assured us there wasn't one so there was no use hanging around!!

Don't tell me this isn't true?????

ETA: Oho! So apparently the AU version doesn't have the last scene. WTH is that??

perhaps as a "sorry you guys got the movie later" reward? It's weird. The scene isn't like, plot-building, but it's very funny.

Let me know if the youtube link doesn't work as I've seen it floating around tumblr and their vid uploads tend to last longer.
