writing breaks my hand; nearly done; reccing; banging

-> Writing about 13k of various stories over the last three days might not have been the best plan when only out of DOOM!cast for about a week. I woke up yesterday and could hardly move my wrist at all and had shooting pains all the way up to my elbow. Rested it a bit yesterday and it seems to have recovered a little. I just... NEED TO WRITE ALL THE THINGS.

-> Finished the next Clint/Darcy fic that is just going through a clean-up and need a title. Remind me why I can't name all my stories after novelty t-shirts??

-> I'm driving the Avengers!franchise crack_van in July and it's the first one for it being a permanent rec fandom so I'm doing an overview. I'm going to be picking all the Avengers peeps braaaaains to help me with this thing because I have to do a character run-down, comms and resources listing.

-> Signed up for TWO stories for marvel_bang. Steve/Tony story is about 5-6k in but I am still conflicted about which Clint/Coulson story I want to write for it because I've had two ideas.



HAWK.I - A very loose Bladerunner!AU - Coulson is a hunter of OTGs (off the grid Imitants). He's hunting a Black Widow and gets assigned Agent Barton to partner him by Fury. Agent Barton has no idea he's actually a HAWK.I

Untitled - In a world where humans are living in walled cities called Arks because of a monstrous scourge that has arisen, unique individuals are sent out into the Deadlands to kull these monsters. The individuals are known as Agents, always partnered with Handlers who are a voice on the line and more often than not, a warm body in the bed.

Hahahaaa... I am going to write both eventually, just need to decide which one I want to give myself a deadline for!

Nooooo... 3 months argh! I was told I would be back to about 90% after 6 weeks so I'm hoping that's true. I just wasn't expecting the pain! :(((

Dude - the pain is from overdoing it. Just, you know - take breaks and an aspirin and give it some light massage or something every now and again. Don't stress it!!

I know, I haven't been taking painkillers at all and I know I should but I'm also worried if the pain is dulled, then I might do something prematurely because I think it's okay without the pain signals and put myself back. Pain is a good indicator of what I'm overdoing it, it's true!

That's true, but pain is also a blocker to healing. At the very least, take pain pills before bed, and *know* that you need to take breaks through the day. If you set a timer or something and really make yourself ease up, then you can balance pain meds with action and not overdue either.

*i'm a firm believer in meds for pain, as i know that being *in* pain is draining and depressing*
