It's darker than I usually write too... oh who am I kidding? I write dark but I guess I usually don't write... bleak? I guess the right word is. I'd seen the sister fic done a number of ways and I hadn't seen this particular take on it before.

To be honest I'm not sure I completely like it either but I like writing outside my comfort zone just to see where it takes me.
